Custom closet wall system

on the cheap

I did a custom closet wall in a teenage room a few years back. I have been doing a few closets recently and thought I would show you how to make a custom closet/desk/vanity/bookcase all in one.

Here is Elena’s for reference.

This wall holds Elena's closet, dresser, desk, file cabinet, chalkboard, book shelf.

Here are the parts.

Use the Ikea basic Pax wardrobes on both ends, next  add the Ikea Nordli dresser 129$, then use Ikea Galant desk top 59.99$ to connect the two Pax, (depending on the length you need, you may need to cut to fit your space), the Target Lumiscource Network 116$ chair for desk or vanity, is very stylish for the price. Over  and under the desk add some wallpaper for interest and ground the unit together. I love this Cole and Sons Apex wallpaper 110$ a roll. The Ikea Ekby wall shelf 31.99$ across the top, adds storage for books or display and frames the unit. (your length will depend on your space here too) Holding up the other end of the Galant top is the CB2 TPS file cabinet 199$, and the section over the dresser is a great place for a chalkboard wall for reminders, love notes, etc.. We added a tv, as well. Throw in your fav desk lamp and you are set.
